Things Are Starting to Happen

We had another uneventful, peaceful night for Tim. That means that today we are seeing plenty of action. So far this morning he's already had 1 of 3 chest tubes removed, he's off his cooling blankent at least for now, and his catheter has been removed. He is scheduled to get another echo today to make sure his function looks they way they want it to and he's working towards being extubated later today or early tomorrow. They still need to try and get him on his right side to be sure it doesn't cause any more problems and they may have his pacemaker settings adjusted to try and better coordinate his atrial and ventricular squeeze to avoid any future rhythm issues. We'll try to get an evening update out tonight since it seems like we should have more news then.
