1st Morning Post-op

I just saw Tim for a few minutes this morning, and sat through rounds. Overall, he is doing well after such a major operation. The bleeding has slowed, and all his numbers look reasonably good for the moment. He is still on a lot of different medications for blood pressure, and pain. They are also cooling him to keep his temperature down, and his heart functioning well. His left ventricle seems to be the same for now. The plan for today is to keep him sedated and stable, giving him the time he needs to heal. They may start to wean him off some of the blood pressure medication later in the day.

Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts and words.
