Happy Birthday Tim!

It's a few days late, but we were happy to celebrate Tim's 4th birthday on Sunday with family and friends. We had beautiful weather for the afternoon with the tempuratures finally getting comfortable. Tim was most excited about the Disney monorail set he got from Mom & Dad with him barely able to contain his excitement when he opened it in the morning dancing around and having a hard time expressing his excitement other than a lot of excited "oooh"s.

With his birthday out of the way we now get to focus on school for Tim and big brother Lou. They both started classes in the last couple of weeks and the adjustment from a long, difficult and at times crazy summer to the more organized structrue of school time has already reaped rewards such as fewer bedtime fights and better attitudes all around. Coming up both boys are going to join their Dad at the Blackhawks training camp festival on September 18, but they don't yet know that they will get their wish of seeing the Stanley Cup champs play meaningful games coming up in October. Otherwise we're going to try and keep a lower profile for a little while so we can keep the boys focused on school, especially since we'll get to have excitement enough in January when their new little siser is supposed to arrive.
