We just met with Dr. Bove who let us know everything went as well as expected during the procedure. They were able to get Tim's gradient up to about 60 with the expectation that once he's awake it will go up further. Baring any unexpected issues over the next day or so we should expect to be headed back home either tomorrow or Saturday.
Looking long term, Dr. Bove thought that so long as the ventricular pressure did not get too high over the winter we should hopefully not need another band adjustment and could expect to have the double switch performed next spring or summer once the desired pressures are reached.
It'll still be a bit before Tim makes it to the PICU, but at least the nervous waiting is over for now.
