In Surgery Now

Tim was picked up for anethesia at about 8:00 this evening and surgery was started at about 10.  We had to clear out Tim's room (despite assurances throughout the day that we wouldn't need to) of everything that we moved in and then also found out that we didn't really have a place to sleep at the hospital tonight.  On the plus side, the procedure likely won't be complete until 4 or 5 in the morning at the best, so we all went home to sleep in the comfort of our own beds knowing that the hospital would call throughout the night with updates.  We plan to return to the hospital tomorrow morning once we hear that the surgery is complete and then we start the road to recovery and avoiding rejection.
